Step 1. Backup Files, Factory Reset, and Install Drivers

Step 2. Download the Files You’ll Need

you will need a windows utilities called Odin.

and then, Extract the. Exe and .ini to your ICS folder. and then, you will need the ClockworkMod Recovery file.

then, Extract the .tar, .md5 file into your ICS folder

remember, Do not extract these files, but just save them as .zip files in your ICS folder that you have created before.
- In case you’d like the option to go back to your standard Honeycomb setup, you’ll want to get the stock Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 ROM.

but, Do not extract, simply save it as a .zip file in your ICS folder.

Step 3. Install ClockworkMod Recovery.

• - Run Odin utility(.exe file) in your laptops
• - then click the PDA button
• - Navigate to your ICS folder and select the file recovery.tar.md5
• - then, Enable USB debugging on Samsung galaxy tab ( Settings > Applications > Development )
• - Reboot your galaxy Tab into Download mode. To act this, hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously until a screen with two icons appears. Use the Volume-Down button to highlight icon on the right, which an Android icon with ‘Downloading’ below it. Press the Volume-Up button to select Downloading mode.
• - then, Plug the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 into your laptops / computer
• - and then, Odin should now recognize the device. after than, Press Start

Step 4. Copy ROMs to the Galaxy Tab

After you installing the ClockworkMod Recovery, then keep your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 plugged into your computer and copy over ‘p4wifi.zip,’ ‘hc-3.1_ota-full_sam_tab_10.1.zip,’ and ‘gapps404.zip’.
Then, You can simply drag these three files to the root of the galaxy Tab’s internal storage.
There is no need to unzip or place them in a certain folder.

Step 5. Install Ice Cream Sandwich

Unplug the samsung Galaxy Tab and reboot into the Recovery-mode,by diong hold down the Power and Volume Down buttons again. But this time choose the icon on the left (it looks like box with arrow coming out of it, pointing towards a little green-Android icon).
then, This will bring you to a text-based menu for the ClockworkMod Recovery, so Use Volume-Up & Volume-Down to navigate and Power button to select that.
- First step, you must run ‘wipe data/factory reset,’ ‘wipe cache partition,’ and under the ‘advanced’ menu choose ‘Wipe Dalvik Cache’.
- then, Navigate back to the main menu and choose ‘install zip from sdcard,’ and then ‘choose zip from sdcard’
- next steps, find and select the ‘p4wifi.zip’ file.for remember, This can take a while, so :).
Next, do the same for the ‘gapps404.zip’ file.
- Finally, after you install them, reboot the tablet.
the first reboot maybe take a while, so do not be confused and anxious.
