How to Flash Official Stock rom Firmware on Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 with ODIN

This time I will give a tutorial on how to flash the official stock firmware for galaxy ace by using odin. very easy to flash the stock rom official galaxy ace official. So, I will tell you how you can upgrade your device’s firmware to official updates from Samsung using Odin.

Okay, let’s follow these instructions to flash official rom for galaxy ace:
things you need to prepare are:
- Samsung galaxy ace GT-S5830 handset.

- Samsung USB Driver, is a maid in the handset to connect to the computer. If you have previously installed the Samsung Kies, the usb driver has also been installed along with Kies.
- Odin Multidownloader V4.38, this is the software used to flash / upgrade galaxy ace. [ download odin here + cooper_v1.OPS here ]
- Cooper_v1.OPS file: this file is always required when flashing / upgrade. File size is very small. :)
Latest Official Firmware galaxy ace or ROM firmware you choose to install, this file can contain. Tar file or. Tar.MD5. you can download from sammobile.com. OR download for asian version here ( Download GT-S5830 latest asian version )

after you meet the required files above, the next step is to extract the firmware ROM that you have downloaded.
file that you can download the form. tar.md5.

Note: If you get a file .tar.md5 single (only one file tar.md5 ) then please follow steps A.
However, if you get 3 or more tar.md5 file, then please follow the steps B

if more than 3 files, maybe These files are usually composed of:
- APBOOT_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
- CODE_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
- CSC_S5830SERKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
- MODEM_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03.tar.md5

Step A: Flasing galaxy ace by Configuring Odin For One Package file.

1. Run Odin Multidownloader for Galaxy Ace GT-S5830.
2. Check One Package, Protect OPS Auto reboot and check boxes.
3. Click on the OPS button and load Cooper_v1.0.ops files on it.
4. Now go to the bottom and click on One Package button.
5. Load the single *. Tar.gz or. Tar.md5 file in this field. examples of its file name:  5830DXKT5_S5830OLBKT3_S5830DXKT4_HOME.tar.md5.

after that, Connect your galaxy ace via usb and wait for detected device in odin, after detected, then clicks start button and wait. :)

Step B: Flasing Galaxy ace : Configuring ODIN for Flashing with Multiple Files

Selecting multiple files in Odin.
1. Run Odin Multidownloader for Galaxy Ace GT-S5830.
2.  Check Protect OPS Auto reboot and check boxes. [Note: Do not check one package option, use this option only when you need to flash a rom in one complete package.
3. Click on the OPS button and load Cooper_v1.0.ops files on it.
- Click on BOOT button and Select. Tar.gz (or. Tar.md5) file with APBOOT in the name.
eg: APBOOT_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
- Click on the PDA button and Select. Tar.gz (or. Tar.md5) file with CODE / PDA in the name.
eg: CODE_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
- Click on PHONE button and Select. Tar.gz (or. Tar.md5) file with MODEM in the name.
eg: MODEM_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03.tar.md5
- Click on the CSC button and Select. Tar.gz (or. Tar.md5) file with csc / csc-multi in the name.
eg: CSC_S5830SERKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar
- Then, Leave EFS blank.
4. Now, once odin is configured, power off your galaxy ace.
5. Boot up your device in download mode (Press Volume Down + Home + Power button simultaneously)
6.  Only when your phone is in download mode, then connect it to your PC via USB Cable.
7. Once connected in download mode, Odin will say Detected!  and then you may press the Start button. just wait after it.
8.  Wait for about 5-6 minutes for Odin to flash the firmware and then when it says PASS at the top left box, you may disconnect your device.
Wait till Odin says PASS. This is the notification that your device is successfully upgraded.
